The EDBAG octaves sequence is shown for F natural in the diagram that follows:-

The diagrams that follow show all of the F major-dominant seventh arpeggio notes plotted over the
7-string guitar's fretboard in the EDBAG octaves and GuitarPro6 styles:-

NOTE :- The F major-dominant seventh is an amalgamation of the F major seventh and F dominant seventh arpeggios; GuitarPro6 diagrams of both these arpeggios follow:-

NOTE:- The GuitarPro6 fingerboard that follows for the F dominant seventh arpeggio shows E's enharmonic equivalent spelling of D (the augmented sixth interval name rather than the minor seventh) used elsewhere on this page.

As always a more long term solution to fretboard navigation is to see scales as INTERVAL shapes rather than note names - as these are universal to all scales, arpeggios and chords rather than specific to one particular root note - with this in mind the intervals for the F major-dominant seventh arpeggio are detailed below in the EDBAG octaves manner:-

The tables and tabbed panels below detail all five box shapes for the F major-dominant seventh arpeggio in the EDBAG octaves style.

Once the individual box shapes have been assimilated all five shapes should be linked together and played in one continuous exercise (with the first shape - 6E4E1 - being repeated at the 12th fret).

The video shown to the right demonstrates the EDBAG octaves chain-linked sequence for the F major-dominant seventh arpeggio box shapes.
